摘要: Continuous wave and femtosecond mode-locked laser operation of Yb3+ in the tetragonal NaLu(WO4)2 crystal host is demonstrated by pumping with a Ti:sapphire laser. Pumping 1.8W at 974nm, maximum output power 650mW was achieved 1029.6nm. The slope efficiency excess 60%. performance similar for two polarizations. By inserting birefringent filter wavelength tunable from 1010to1055nm. Pulses as short 90fs an average 50mW were generated passive mode locking repetition rate 95MHz. These attractive properties NaLu1−xYbx(WO4)2 are related to inhomogeneous broadening spectral features resulting local disorder crystal. We report spectroscopic 5–300K temperature range optical room temperature.
