摘要: Many researchers believe electronic wallets (secure storage devices that maintain account balances) are the solution to commerce challenges. This paper argues for a more powerful model--a secure coprocessor--that can run small operating system, application programs, and also keep cryptographic keys balance information. We have built system called Dyad, on top of port Mach 3.0 microkernel IBM Citadel coprocessor. describes abstract architecture Dyad general discussion coprocessor implementations variety applications: • Copy protection software Electronic cash (including critique proposed solutions point-of-sale wallet systems) contracts Secure postage
