摘要: Background and aims: The reduced α1-antitrypsin (AAT) activities of some phenotypes have been suggested as contributing to the development respiratory diseases.Materials methods: One hundred patients with disease following exposure sulfur mustard were divided into two groups 50 based on their symptoms compared a healthy control group. AAT determined in plasma all patient subjects by isoelectric focusing (IEF).Results: Mean 3.4 ± 0.3 4.2 ± 0.1 μmol min−1 ml−1, respectively (p < 0.001). No phenotypic alterations detected.Conclusions: difference clinical pulmonary was attributed activity, but this not manifested changes identifiable IEF.
