摘要: Partial body irradiation during cancer radiotherapy (RT) induces a response of irradiated tissues that could be observed at the level serum proteome. Here we aimed to characterize RT in group patients treated because prostate cancer. Five consecutive blood samples were collected before, during, and after end 126 who received definitive treatment with maximum dose 76 Gy. Serum peptidome, which was profiled 2000-16,000 Da range using MALDI-MS. proteins identified quantified shotgun LC-MS/MS approach. The majority changes peptidome detected between pre-treatment 3-4 weeks (~25% registered peptides changed their abundances significantly), yet intensity not correlated significantly degree acute radiation toxicity or volume tissues.
