摘要: This work is devoted to the dependence of particle size on magnetorheological properties fluid (MRF) consisting plate-like iron particles suspended in a carrier liquid with two aspects. One aspect study influence rheological MRF, and other investigate small-sized large-sized MRF. In order achieve this goal, firstly, different types MR suspensions have been constituted by particle; one small an average 2 μm diameter, large 19 diameter. work, these are denoted as S-MRF L-MRF, respectively. Secondly, check fluid, three weight fractions bidisperse MRF samples prepared. The structural morphology described detail. magnetic fluids carried out at room temperature using magnetometer, followed investigation field-dependent fluids. It observed that both yield stress viscosity increased increasing size, which directly shows correlation magnetization. also identified from test depend fraction due magnetostatic interaction between sizes particles. Based properties, some figures merit derived for proposed samples, important design application device. sedimentation experiments performed stability each day. With basic experiments, it clearly demonstrated suspension precise has high low stability, practical feasibility.
