摘要: This paper investigates the dimensions of private vehicles’ trips on national roads between neighboring cities in Indonesia using spatial lag model and error approach to reveal correlations among cities. Private vehicles are defined as privately owned automobiles motorcycles, vehicle or usage levels terms kilometers traveled (VKT) for both types vehicles. The finds that motorcycle characteristically local because there is no sign a correlation with those trips; by contrast, automobile often cross city boundaries, although models constructed this study demonstrate only weak trips. also indicate road capacity, gasoline prices, gross domestic regional product per capita, population density, size, number public buses, worker resident density have significant effect VKT cars motorcycles. Therefore, these findings suggest general, design urban transportation policies could be less complex Indonesian solutions may effective solving traffic problems individual
