摘要: Nonlinear interactions of tenuous electron beam, background, unmagnetized plasma, and self-consistently generated Langmuir ion-sound waves are analyzed in the framework plasma weak turbulence kinetic theory. Full numerical solutions complete equations obtained for first time, which show familiar plateau formation beam distribution concomitant quasi-saturation primary waves, followed by fully nonlinear processes include three-wave decay induced-scattering processes. A detailed analysis reveals that scattering off ions is an important process leads to prominent backscattered long-wavelength wave components.
