摘要: Background: Among acute coronary patients, the ratio of non ST-elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) is increasing and according to recent studies, less than 30% infarctions (MIs) are due (STEMI). Unlike STEMI, in NSTEMI ECG not able identify culprit vessel. Objectives: In this study, we aimed evaluate association mean platelet volume (MPV) left anterior descending lesion. Methods: cross sectional study 349 patients with were included. Major cardiac risk factors (cigarette, diabetes mellitus (DM), hypertension (HTN), hyperlipidemia (HLP), angiographic findings, drug history extracted from patients’ medical files. Then MPV complete blood count results angiography findings analyzed for any association. According lesions divided into (LAD) non-LAD groups. Results: There was a significant difference between two groups (LAD vs. non-LAD) (P = 0.014), 0.001), HLP (0.024) DM (0.048). Multivariate regression model has shown (OR 0.46, 95%CI 0.27 - 0.78) 0.18, 0.06 0.54) as independent LAD The positive correlation also seen ventricle ejection fraction (LVEF) (r 0.22, P 0.006). area under curve (AUC) predicting lesion calculated 69% < 0.0001). At cut off point 9.15, sensitivity specificity vessel 100% respectively. Conclusions: might be good tool differentiate
