Nonmagnetic control of spin transport in InGaAs quantum wells

摘要: Abstract We have studied the Rashba constant values α in In0.52Al0.48As/In0.53Ga0.47As quantum wells (QW), as a function of degree structural inversion asymmetry (SIA), using weak antilocalization analysis. control SIA QWs both by specific sample design and applied gate voltage. The deduced are quantitative agreement with theoretical obtained k · p -type calculation. We, then, propose novel spin-filter device solely based on effect an example devices that utilize spin–orbit coupling effect.
