摘要: Abstract High-strength and high-density carbonized carbon blocks from self-sintering coke were manufactured using coal tar two-stage heat treatments (1st 2nd stage treatments). First, the molecular weight distribution of refined was controlled through a pressured treatment treatment). Second, 1st heat-treated (1S-CT) treated delayed coking system (2nd treatment) to become coke. Finally, molded (2S-C) at 1200 °C for 1 h. Through rapid decomposition high components in 360 treatment, confirmed be controllable by treatment. Swelling during carbonization observed 2S-C containing more than 15 wt% volatile matter 150–450 °C. The optimum conditions 300 3 h 500 highest density flexural strength 1.46 g/cm3 69.2 MPa, respectively.
