摘要: Tin oxide derived from sol-gel yielded nano-size crystals. At temperatures below 700 °C, the grain growth kinetics showed weak time dependence (grain exponent n of 6-7.4) with an activation energy 21-26 kJ/mol, and no anisotropy was observed. Doping Pt increased SnO 2 size; we attribute this effect to heterogeneous nucleation in initial stage heating. The size difference between Pt-doped undoped is larger for 1 h heat-treatment than 24 at 500-800 °C. For heat-treatments up h, doping significantly suppressed (n = 7.6-11.9), resulted preferential direction normal (101).
