摘要: Brain injuries such as focal stroke initiate a myriad of neural events leading to local and remote alterations in cerebral networks. The neurochemical neurophysiological mechanisms underlying these postlesion changes raise the question their beneficial or adverse effects on functional recovery. In this review, we aim reconcile findings from animal patients studies using "from cellular-to network-levels" perspective gain further insights into neuroplasticity recovery sensorimotor functions. Ultimately, an integrative view multiple facets poststroke should give impetus novel neurorehabilitation strategies by providing evidence how neuroscience can be translated operationalized within context restorative stroke.
