摘要: This thesis examines the work of Irish Centre for Talented Youth (CTYI) over a two year period between years 1994-1996. It evaluates means by which CTYI identify academically talented 12-16 olds and explores rigorous challenging coursework that it provides highly able student. The research is both quantitative qualitative in focus, assessing how students, instructors other key programme personnel view experience. offers fast paced enrichment courses during Summer on Saturday mornings throughout year. Participants these are assessed terms academic social satisfaction.
