摘要: Glycine tissue concentrations are increased particularly in nonketotic and ketotic hyperglycinemia, inherited metabolic disorders characterized by severe neurologic damage brain abnormalities. The present work investigated the vitro effects of glycine on important parameters energy metabolism young rats. analyzed were CO2 generated from glucose, acetate citrate activities respiratory chain complexes I–IV, citric acid cycle enzymes synthase, aconitase, isocitrate dehydrogenase, α-ketoglutarate succinate dehydrogense, fumarase malate creatine kinase Na+,K+-ATPase. Our results show that significantly reduced production acetate, but not glucose citrate, reflecting an impairment function. We also observed activity mitochondrial enzyme synthase was markedly inhibited glycine, whereas other altered. Furthermore, at I–III, II–III II, as well isoform data indicate severely impairs bioenergetics level formation, transfer utilization. Considering importance for development functioning, it is presumed glycine-induced homeostasis may be involved least part neurological found patients affected which increased.
