摘要: In this chapter, strain effect on the thermoelectric figure of merit is investigated in n-type Si/Ge nanocomposite materials. Strain phonon thermal conductivity nanocomposites computed through a model combining strain-dependent lattice dynamics and ballistic BTE. The Seebeck coefficient electrical are calculated by an analytical derived from Boltzmann transport equation (BTE) under relaxation-time approximation. incorporated into BTE strain-induced energy shift effective mass variation deformation potential theory degenerate k ⋅ p method at zone-boundary X point. Electronic using Wiedemann–Franz law. Various strains applied transverse plane nanocomposites. Thermoelectric properties including conductivity, coefficient, dimensionless for these conditions.
