摘要: Fifteen patients with idiopathic hirsutism, who had no attenuated adrenal hyperplasia, obesity, enlarged ovaries, or amenorrhea, were studied. Excessive androgen secretion by tissue was suggested the finding of increased levels dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate, which decreased after dexamethasone administration but did not change human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) injection. ovarian that testosterone and androstenedione elevated, correlated significantly luteinizing hormone, estrogen-progestagen, hCG Notably, free levels, increased, only partially suppressed during estrogen-progestagen administration. These results provide further evidence both adrenals ovaries secrete androgens excessively in hirsutism.
