摘要: Sphaerospora epinepheli n. sp. is described from grouper, Epinephelus malabaricus, in cage-cultured and wild fish collected both coastal lines of southern Thailand. Subspherical to spherical spores mono- or disporous pseudoplasmodia were observed the lumen kidney tubules. Pseudoplasmodia round elongate, size range 15.6-22.9 microns (length) x 8.4-21.6 (width). Spores 7.8-10.0 12.3-14.5 (thickness), 7.0-9.5 (width) with two polar capsules equal measuring 2.9-4.4 diameter containing filaments six seven windings. Two uninucleate sporoplasms showed iodine vacuoles. Blood stages, similar C-blood protozoans freshwater Europe, found peripheral blood smears grouper. Ultrastructural studies stages a structure unidentified mobile carp. Electron dense bodies cytoplasm primary cell stages. Infected proximal-tubular epithelial cells highly vacuolated pycnotic nuclei.
