摘要: The traditionally defined ‘Nanos group’, composed of the genera Nanos Westwood, 1842, Cambefortantus Paulian, 1986 and Apotolamprus Olsoufieff, 1947, represents most recent Malagasy dung beetle radiation. Species in this group have been ecologically very successful with many being numerically dominant local communities Madagascar. In study phylogenetic relationships species are inferred using molecular data from mitochondrial (cytochrome c oxidase I) nuclear (rudimentary, topoisomerase I 28S) genes. The monophyly is supported both by morphological characters, but that Nanos, only one character, questioned. Congruent groups can be within on base morphology results. addition to study, revision genus s.l., presented. antsihanakensis (Lebis, 1953) stat.n. re-established. Thirteen new species – Nanos pseudofusconitens sp.n., magnus marojejyensis bemarahaensis andreiae mirjae pseudorubromaculatus pseudominutus mixtus ranomafanaensis manongorivoensis N. pseudoviettei sp.n. N. constricticollis sp.n. – are described compared their closely related taxa.
