‘Why don't Italians Occupy?’ Hypotheses on a Failed Mobilisation

摘要: Italy was the birthplace of first mobilisation targeting crisis-related austerity measures: in 2008, students protesting against governmental cuts chanted ‘We won't pay for crisis’. After that, appeared unable to play a significant role European anti-austerity mobilisation. The waves protest last three years seem much less influential, global context, than British, Spanish, Greek or Chilean events, let alone Arab Spring. Furthermore, all attempts start some occupy-style mobilisation, during Fall 2011, failed.
