摘要: Abstract Objectives To investigate the opioid prescription patterns for adults with longstanding physical disability and inflammatory conditions, compared to a mixed group of other users, after excluding cancer patients. Design Nationally representative cross-sectional study, 2010-2014. Setting Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS). Participants The participants (N=7134) were who participated in MEPS had at least 1 prescription, did not have cancer, between 18 years 64 age. grouped as (group 1), conditions 2), during 2-year study period (comparison group). both groups excluded. Interventions Not applicable. Main Outcome Measure Morphine milligram equivalent (MME) doses each participant cumulated over panel period. Results By using quantile regression, cumulative MME 2 was higher than comparison across all percentiles, differences condition became larger percentiles. highest 75th 90th percentiles controlling covariates. Conclusions This documented patients or conditions. All indexed (groups 2) use group.
