摘要: Background The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship neutrophil lymphocyte ratio (NLR) with short-term mortality in acute stroke. Methods This retrospective included 255 patients cerebral infarction who presented within 24 hours symptom onset. A hemogram from peripheral venous blood samples was taken at time admission. NLR calculated as neutrophils lymphocytes. Duration follow-up defined 60 days. Results Seventy-one died during period. median significantly increased among group compared survival (median 11.50, interquartile [IQR] 10.40 vs 3.79, IQR 4.72; P = .001). In our multivariate Cox regression model, >5.0 (hazard [HR] 3.30; 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.35-8.07), National Institutes Health Stroke Scale score (HR 1.11; CI 1.07-1.16), glucose values admission 1.007; 1.002-1.011), and history coronary artery disease 2.49; 1.26-4.92) were predictors mortality. sensitivity for when >5 83.10%, specificity 62.00%. positive predictive value a 45.7%, negative 90.50%. strong linear association between also observed (r 0.64; addition, higher both atherosclerotic cardioembolic stroke subgroups than lacunar infarct subgroup (6.5 [IQR 7.2], 7.5 8.9], 3.20 3.50], respectively; Conclusions hospital may be predictor patients. Because routine use inexpensive nature analysis, should investigated future prospective, randomized controlled trials investigating
