Performance of Ce0.25Zr0.75O2 promoted Pd/Ag/γ-Al2O3 catalysts for low-temperature methanol oxidation

摘要: Abstract A series of bimetallic Pd/Ag/γ-Al 2 O 3 modified by various contents (15, 25, 35, 50, and 65 wt.%) Ce 0.25 Zr 0.75 were prepared used as catalysts for the oxidation reaction CH OH. The results indicate that addition could decrease light-off temperature methanol conversion. Samples with 50 65 wt.% show markedly enhanced activity attaining near 85 °C, which may resolve complete at low temperature.
