摘要: Twenty-two sorghum genotypes were evaluated for grain mould response, 13 morphological and biochemical traits thought to contribute resistance, 3 agronomic related utilization. Measurements of (field grade score, threshed ergosterol content, percentage germination) strongly correlated with one another. Highly significant correlations between measures seed hardness, phenol content in acid methanol extract, glume colour indicated that they affected response. Harder grain, higher levels phenols, darker glumes contributed resistance. Weaker less consistent colour, flavan-4-ol contents, cover relatively effect these on Genotype means combinations several are required achieve Germplasm lines, including coloured-seeded lines IS 14375, 14387, 18144, 18528, white-seeded 21443, 24495 25017, showed greatest Improved generally had poorer resistance than landraces. However, the best improved comparable B58586, 14375 14387 hard-seeded guinea can be used as sources West Africa.
