摘要: Abstract The decay of the electrically induced transient birefringence, for a dilute polydisperse suspension ellipsoidally shaped particles constant axial ratio, is analysed. It shown that, process, initial slopes natural logarithm normalised birefringence versus time curves transients obtained under two discrete experimental conditions provide sufficient data to describe spread in particle size terms two-parameter distribution functions. procedure described three common skew distributions and symmetric ones. A simple identifying most appropriate function given.
