摘要: Abstract The hypernetted chain (HNC) integral equation and Monte Carlo simulations are applied to study spatial correlations among the ions confined in aqueous core of inverted micelles a microemulsion. calculated ion density profiles compared with predictions nonlinear Poisson-Boltzmann results anisotropic HNC approximation (AHNC). In presence simple electrolytes, isotropic good agreement simulation, while only AHNC proves satisfactory salt-free systems solutions divalent counterions.
