摘要: Much work has been published on the cis-regulatory elements that affect gene function locally, as well biochemistry of transcription factors and chromatin- histone-modifying complexes influence expression. However, surprisingly little information is available about how these components are organized within three-dimensional space nucleus. Technological advances now helping to identify spatial relationships interactions genes regulatory in nucleus revealing an unexpectedly extensive network communication between chromosomes. A crucial unresolved issue extent which this organization affects function, rather than just reflecting it.
