摘要: Background. According to previous reports, primary peritoneal carcinoma indistinguishable from ovarian adenocarcinoma had developed in five women with a history of familial cancer who undergone prophylactic oophorectomy. Methods. The records the Gilda Radner Familial Ovarian Cancer Registry were reviewed for instances oophorectomy and cases occurring after oophorectomy. Results. From 1981 through July 1992, accessioned 931 families (a total 2221 cancer). Currently, 324 these have as preventive measure against subsequent development cancer. Primary histologically has six 1-27 years oophorectomy. Conclusions. Based on this finding other reports such carcinoma, prospective international study is planned. This will compare incidence first- or second-degree relatives underwent because family that those did not undergo oophorectomy.
