摘要: Electricity is a nonstorable commodity. Consequently, electricity prices will follow fairly regular fluctuations in demand, stemming from time dependent variations economic activity and weather conditions. However, it possible to store as different energy carrier (e.g., hot water) both consumers producers have some leeway for changing behavior order take advantage of price regularities. Thus, the regularities should be within arbitrage limits, one would expect reduced over result investments that increase flexibility consumption well production. In this article, hourly, daily, weekly changes at Nordic power exchange (Nord Pool) are analyzed period January 1995–December 2006. The tentative conclusion statistical analysis may offer potentials profitable trading strategies.
