Extraneural metastases in medulloblastoma

摘要: Medulloblastoma is the most common childhood malignant tumor of central nervous system, but it may also occur in adults. It presents high invasive growth with spreading cells into leptomeningeal space along neuroaxis early course disease. Extraneural metastases are rare frequently lethal, occurring only 1 to 5% patients, and related, cases, presence ventriculoperitoneal shunt. Here we characterize clinical profile five cases medulloblastoma systemic cells, comparing them already described literature.
