Estimation and mapping of the spatial distribution of total solar irradiance at heterogeneous surfaces

摘要: In this study, the spatial distribution of total solar irradiance at surface was estimated taking into account effect topography on orientation. The direct surfaces normal to beam, as well diffuse horizontal were simulated using SBDART (Santa Barbara DISORT Atmospheric Radiative Transfer) model and following a developed calculate reaching any arbitrary oriented DEM (Digital Elevation Model). Finally, daily irradiation calculated model. vegetation standard type used for albedo parameterisation, AVHRR (Advance Very High Resolution Radiometer) data cloud cover estimation, while typical atmospheric trace gases concentrations MODIS (Moderate Imaging Spectrometer) derived precipitable water in simulations. application area central eastern Crete simulations performed May 20, 2003.
