摘要: Previous studies discuss how regulatory, technological and market drivers increasingly challenge manufacturing industries to adopt eco-innovations. However, the understanding of process by which eco-innovations are developed commercialized as a result these is not yet well established, in particular because perceived differently end-users their suppliers. In this paper, we address following research question: How do eco-innovation shape processes value-creating networks? To answer question, carried out case study purposely selected understand drivers, such regulation, pull technology, interact affect decisions given industry. We analyzed an initiative about retrofitting old ships, contextualized maritime equipment supply The paper makes two novel contributions: First, develop framework that can support supply-network initiatives deal with changes at technology levels. includes elements, value co-creation explore opportunities emerging from interaction or proposition development align multiple actors’ interests network agree on shared expectations exploit opportunities. Second, contribute area highlighting lesser-known role dynamics. Value-creating networks be platform for more radical if actors creation capture objectives.
