摘要: Integrins mediate cell adhesion to the extracellular matrix (ECM). In particular, integrin alphavbeta3 recognizes RGD motif as a ligand-binding site on various extracellular molecules of extracellular matrix. Integrin aphavbeta3 has been associated with high malignant potential in breast cancer cells, and signalized onset of widespread metastasis. recent years, several antagonists integrin alphavbeta3, including snake venom disintegrins, have used potential anti-cancer agents. present work, effect of contortrostatin, a disintegrin isolated from Agkistrodon contortrix, was studied primary cultures human cell. Scanning transmission electron microscopy were employed in order examine alterations cell morphology fluorescent visualize changes distribution of integrin talin. Fluorescent localization caspase 8 was made in any sign proapoptotosis western immunoblotting of integrin, talin annexin undertaken identify changes. The results suggest that contortrostatin seriously affects morphology, adhesion mobility induces cells apoptosis.
