摘要: Abstract Pore-structure is one of important factors affecting the properties porous metal materials, but it difficult to describe complexity pore-structure exactly. Fractal theory a very effective method for investigating which builds bridge between micro-morphology and macro-performance. In paper, two kinds stainless steel powder different images (irregular spherical shapes) with particle size 38 μm–150 μm were used prepare samples preset porosity, ranged from 20.4% 45.5%, by conventional compaction technique, then sintered at 1250 °C 2 h in vacuum. The porosity microstructure analyzed using Archimedes' law optical microscope, respectively. addition, was studied fractal dimension calculated box counting method. results show that decreases continuously increase magnification, 1.43 1.25 irregular powder, optimal magnification ranges × 200 × 500, increases gradually porosity. Furthermore, relationships or can be expressed model D = 0 exp − x 1 + 2 k θ 3 ,
