摘要: Background: Following Myocardial Infarction (MI) and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), the modification of cardiovascular risk factors inflammation can improve MI progression PCI outcomes. Up to now, no certain conclusions have been drawn regarding effect therapeutic lifestyle change (TLC) diet a combination Q10 plus L-carnitine (LC) supplementation on inflammatory biomarkers In-Stent Restenosis (ISR), lipid profile, Left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF). Objectives: This study aimed evaluate effects TLC LC ISR, LVEF following PCI. Methods: single-blind randomized controlled trial was conducted 128 subjects. After randomization for treatment allocation, subjects were divided into groups through block randomization. The patients admitted 2 hospitals, namely Al-Zahra Kowsar (Shiraz, Iran), between April 2015 May 2016. 4 receiving (A), oral 150 mg/d 1200 (B), (C), routine care (D). evaluated Interleukin-6 (IL-6) high sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) as in with undergoing before 3 months after intervention. Results: results showed significant decrease hs-CRP B (11.8 ± 4.3 2.0 1 mg/L) C (11.7±3.9 1.3±1.1 (P < 0.0001 P 0.0001, respectively), but not group A. Also, reduction found IL-6 A (38.0 15 9.4 pg/mL), (34.6 12 5.1 2.4 (33.7 4.8 2.1 pg/mL) respectively). Additionally, LDL total cholesterol, TG, levels significantly decreased (150 17 80 13 mg/dL), (148 77.2 14 (142 11 64.8 10 mg/dL) 0.001, Nevertheless, only improvement (45.1 8 53.6 8) 0.027). Conclusions: An adjuvant therapy seems be required secondary prevention appeared effective ISR well reduction.
