摘要: Histochemical, biochemical, microfluorometric and electron microscopic studies were made of the spleen a patient with type I hyperlipoproteinemia. Foam cells observed that contained material identified as ceroid on basis its autofluorescence, acid-fastness, sudanophilia, PAS-positivity insolubility in organic solvents. Electron microscopy showed was organized form granules concentric lamellae irregular periodicity.
