摘要: Demands for electric power generation are rapidly increasing water -supply requirements in northeastern Arizona, where groundwater pumpage is expected to escalate sixfold during the next ten years. In a study undertaken determine feasibility of using satellite imagery as tool exploring new sources groundwater, lineaments detected on Landsat images two sites Arizona were mapped. Literature related well data areas was researched and plotted. The then correlated with by means wellcentered grid model. Correlations developed between lineament density support hypothesis that relationship exists regional geologic structure presence indicate can be used delineating structural features.
