摘要: In some respects it can be said that when the ruminant animal has consumed its food rest of process is left essentially to rumen microbes. However, individual host can, directly or indirectly, affect and cause differences in environment provided for fermentation. This clearly illustrated by fact that, feed degradation rates were measured a group animals, greatest source variation was between individuals rather than measurements made at different times (Mehrez & Orskov, 1977). Moreover, ruminal outflow rate also large between-animal component (Orskov et al., 1988). this chapter most important sources these animals are discussed.
