摘要: Calcific tendinopathy of the rotator cuff represents a treatment challenge since there is no consensus on its treatment. Unfortunately, up to 38 % calcifications do not disappear with time. The persistence calcification detrimental tendon biology and resistance. Thus, it mandatory follow treat in case would reabsorb spontaneously. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, rest, exercises, physiotherapy, shock wave therapy are being used varying results. Those who have benefited from conservative measures indicated for nonsurgical invasive interventions or surgical Invasive include steroid/anesthetic injection, barbotage (multiple needle punctures), aspiration, ultrasound lavage. Surgical (arthroscopic) should be reserved chronic cases ruptures due deposit.
