摘要: Introduction Due to the recent lack of definitions establish severity paravalvular leak (PVL) and endpoints for its treatment, effectiveness safety a new device PVL closure have not been comprehensively analyzed. Aim To analyze single center's experience mitral in surgical transapical catheter-based fashion with purpose-specific device. Material methods This is retrospective cohort study patients following Data were analyzed at baseline, perioperatively, discharge, six months annually after procedure. Results Nineteen underwent Occlutech PLD Occluder. Mean follow-up time was 20 ±7 (range: 9-33) months. The patients' mean age 64 years, 11 (58%) male. Technical, individual patient success achieved 18 (95%), 16 (84%) respectively. Median intensive therapy unit stay one day (1-4) hospital ±4 days. A reduction regurgitation mild or lesser degree (95%) patients. There no strokes myocardial infarctions follow-up. deaths 30 days One (5%) expired due progression heart failure 12 surgery. None required immediate conversion full sternotomy. Conclusions Surgical Occluder safe clinically effective treatment.
