摘要: The triptans are a class of tryptamine-based drugs indicated for in the treatment migraine headaches. act as serotonin (5-hydroxytriptamine) (5-HT) agonists by binding to various receptors, causing vasoconstriction and neuronal inhibition alleviate migraines. There 7 types currently available on U.S. market: almotriptan, eletriptan, frovatriptan, naratriptan, rizatriptan, sumatriptan zolmitriptan. objective this study was examine use effects pregnancy. Although three have pregnancy registries maintained manufacturer, triptan has not been extensively studied. Information during is relatively more abundant, because it market longer than other may also higher percentage share. no data suggest teratogenicity any triptans, although preterm birth rates appear be elevated.
