摘要: Electrodeposited thin films and nanoparticles of Ni3S2 are highly active, poison- corrosion-resistant catalysts for oxygen reduction to water at neutral pH. In pH 7 phosphate buffer, displays catalytic onset 0.8 V versus the reversible hydrogen electrode, a Tafel slope 109 mV decade(-1), high faradaic efficiency four-electron O2 water. Under these conditions, activity stability exceeds that polycrystalline platinum manganese, nickel, cobalt oxides, illustrating potential pairing labile first-row transition metal active sites with more covalent sulfide host lattice.
