摘要: Abstract We studied patterns in the use of space for foraging and roosting by two frugivorous bat species a five-year-old restored Atlantic forest located fragmented landscape southeastern Brazil. Ten individuals Carollia perspicillata eleven Artibeus lituratus were monitored through radio-telemetry five sampling sessions. Each session lasted 3–8 days each individual, with an average 25.4 ± 10 locations C . individual 19 ± 4.4 A individual. described range 124.4 ha commuting distance 1158.8 m 32 ha 489 m, respectively, demonstrated consistent pattern habitat movements both species, where they strictly used forests (restored or not) day roosting, foliage trees only secondary remnants areas, while areas their main feeding habitat. demonstrate that newly can be readily incorporated as habitats these alters its behavior relation to preferred food availability. These results, when combined data on diet show evidence potential bats have improve diversity anthropogenic plantings own natural seed dispersal.
