摘要: Transmission electron microscopy (TEM)-based techniques are uniquely suited for site-specific structural and analytical characterization of halide perovskites (HPs) at atomic, nanometer, micrometer length scales. TEM-based studies hold the key to understanding nature functionality these fascinating materials that heart emerging solar cells (opto)electronic devices. While have made several groundbreaking discoveries resulted in astonishing advancements field science general over past decades, their application HPs has been relatively sparse. Here, we provide a perspective on conducted so far project vision how powerful can be brought bear research problems HPs. An outlook discussing important challenges opportunities lay ahead is also presented.
