摘要: The concept of the “impaired physician” is an oxymoron. Physicians are by definition bearers health, which can lead to overlooking possibility them contracting illness that reduces their diagnostic and therapeutic abilities, with a consequent danger patients’ health. clinical reasons for radiologist may constitute patients be divided into two categories: infectious blood-borne diseases, transmitted patient during interventional radiology procedures; neurodegenerative psychiatric disorders, including alcohol drug abuse, temporarily or permanently impair faculty judgement. All radiologists have duty periodically verify own state health seek help as soon possible when they fear it danger. This individual responsibility towards one’s flanked safety requirements provided European regulations who employers, directors department heads. occupational physician plays key role in identifying managing impaired radiologist.
