The influence of technology on cancer nursing

摘要: Objectives: To summarize technologies that have been described in nursing literature (in the context of oncology) over last 25 years, and to present projections possible technology future oncology nursing. Data Sources: CINAHL (1982 present), MEDLINE (1976 1984), author identification articles. Conclusions: Technology has greatly influenced evolution nursing, particularly concerning treatment (chemotherapy, radiation therapy, biotherapy, marrow blood transplantation), access devices, genetic information technologies. Implications for Nursing Practice: Nurses must be prepared deal with how affects their philosophical perspective challenges presented by technology.
