摘要: Abstract Research using multichannel electroencephalographic recordings is increasingly characterized by greater numbers of electrodes. With up to 256 silver/silver chloride (Ag/AgCl) electrodes, preparation and electrode placement time consuming error prone. We propose a novel type dry titanium/titanium nitride (Ti/TiN) electrode, integrated into electroencephalography (EEG) cap based on pneumatic-driven mechanisms. The electrodes were electrochemically comparative biosignal measurements carried out. In NaCl solution, the impedance values between 824 54 Ω phase –52 –10° at frequencies 5 Hz 10 kHz for Ti/TiN For resting-state EEG, with eye movements, alpha activity, pattern reversal visual evoked potential (VEP), there no significant differences adjacent standard Ag/AgCl in 97.2% signal episodes investigated. maps VEP similar both types conclusion, our system mechanisms enables completely EEG acquisition can thus potentially replace conventional due quality.
