摘要: This paper describes a new efficient approach for visualizing large hierarchical information. Our technique is based on the connection + enclosure visualization model [1] from which area division used recursive positioning of nodes, while node-link diagram still drawn to present entire structure. We inherit advantages Space-Optimized (SO) Tree that can enhance usability display space by using division. However, we replace set polygons in SO rectangles not only decreases computation cost calculating geometrical polygons, but also greatly reduces human perceptual and cognitive loads spent understanding underlying use semantic zooming enlarge particular viewing filter out rest structure less interested. The navigation accommodated animation order preserve mental map [2].
