Suprascapular Nerve Entrapment Syndrome

摘要: Background: Suprascapular nerve entrapment syndrome is due to compression of the at notch. This secondary repetitive strain as in Volley ball players or a notch narrowed  by cyst fracture superolateral region scapula.  They usually present with vague pain and fatigability shoulder girdle. Diagnosis confirmed by conduction study suprascapular EMG supraspinatus infraspinatus. Treatment conservative early stages. Surgery performed when treatment fails there are prominent neurological symptoms. Materials methods : The author presents results prospective this clinical problem done Govt. Medical College, Thrissur during period 2004 - 2011. All case patients were initially treated conservatively. Subsequently, all underwent surgical release ligament. Results: got satisfactory following surgery. Conclusion: surgery good.
