摘要: Accumulating evidence demonstrates that microRNAs (miRNAs or miRs) play important roles in the development and progression of human malignancies, including oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC); however, unique miRNAs are not yet fully understood OSCC. The present study aimed to identify novel associated with OSCC elucidate their functions. Based on a microarray analysis, miR‑144‑3p was found be one most significantly downregulated tissues. Its low expression closely tumor size, differentiation lymph node metastasis. Functionally, overexpression suppressed proliferation, promoted apoptosis, invasion migration cells. In addition, enhancer zeste homolog 2 (EZH2), well‑known oncogene, proven direct target miR‑144‑3p, its protein negatively regulated by miR‑144‑3p. Moreover, EZH2 increased, inversely correlated level Notably, knockdown inhibited cells, whereas partially reversed anticancer effects mediated overexpression. On whole, findings suggest functions as suppressor targeting may thus considered potential diagnostic therapeutic for
