Polydopamine Functionalized Graphene Oxide as Membrane Nanofiller: Spectral and Structural Studies.

摘要: High-degree functionalization of graphene oxide (GO) nanoparticles (NPs) using polydopamine (PDA) was conducted to produce functionalized (GO-PDA NPs). Aiming explore their potential use as nanofiller in membrane separation processes, the spectral and structural properties GO-PDA NPs were comprehensively analyzed. GO first prepared by oxidation graphite via a modified Hummers method. The obtained then with PDA GO:PDA ratio 1:2 obtain highly aminated NPs. change evaluated XRD, FTIR-UATR, Raman spectroscopy, SEM TEM. Several bands have emerged FTIR spectra attributed amine groups confirming high degree XRD patterns showed different crystalline structures defects higher interlayer spacing GO-PDA. elemental compositions confirmed XPS CHNSO analysis an emerging N 1s core-level survey corresponding PDA. better dispersibility polar nonpolar solvents expanding utilization for purposes. Furthermore, GO-PDA-coated membranes pressure-assisted self-assembly technique (PAS) low concentrations (1 wt. %). Contact angle measurements excellent hydrophilic average contact (27.8°).
